Project Timeline

  • Aug. 24, 2022 – Public Forum

    Community feedback to set priorities for a long-term facilities plan to help I-35 students succeed for decades into the future.

  • Oct. 26, 2022 – Public Forum

    After reviewing the top priorities from the community, an initial long-term facilities proposal was shared with the public.

  • Sept. 2022 – Oct. 2023 – Facilities Committee Meets Regularly

    The Facilities Committee reviews priorities, the funding sources and the available options in order to make a recommendation to the Board of Directors.

  • April 1, 2024

  • Fall 2024-Winter 2025

    The facilities committee reconvenes to discuss possible future phases. They are tasked with reviewing the priorities the community identified and the funding options. Then they’ll make a recommendation to the Board of Directors.

  • February 6, 2025 – Postcard Mailed

    Facility feedback postcards were mailed out the community to gather updated feedback via an online survey.

  • March 27, 2025 – Public Forum Held

    The survey results were shared and presented. Questions from the community were asked and answered by the project team and administrators.

  • April 2025 – School Board Approves Plan

    At the April 2025 meeting, the School Board of Directors approved the proposed facilities plan to go to a public vote on bond initiative. This bond proposal is called Bond 2025. The projects were submitted to the board after extensive planning and work by the Facilities Committee.

  • November 4, 2025 – Election Day

    This is the next election date. Voters will vote on a variety of local issues, including Bond 2025.
